The Lotus Project
It begins being buried deep down in cold, muddy waters.
It’s dark, timeless, lonely.
Cracks in the armor, allow nurturing love to seep in.
Yet it’s oh so painful to be exposed,
To experience the first words creating the gap,
To touch love for what feels like the first time.
So terrifying to think that something else may creep in.
Unfelt time passes on, expansive movement forced towards the light,
One breath, two.
Blossoming through the darkness,
Not in spite of it, but because of it.
For the roots were birthed in this darkness.
Here comes the beginning of the end of that which must be endured.
Lifting up to clearer waters, affirms what is meant to be true,
By trusting in it’s own unfolding.
The reflection off the top of the waters,
Reveals the magnificent entity that has opened.
The purpose of healing this part,
The shattered consciousness, one phase closer to being whole.
You have done your work.
The Universe thanks you, worships you.
For You are The Lotus.
Only to be reborn, planted in darkness once more.
Can you see your beauty?
