The Essential Self: We are Infinite
Residing in a human body
Can be very painful at times
When we know, we are so much more
Limitations of the skin’s barriers
Trapped in miswired survival patterns
Even when suddenly, we’re thriving
Tied to these bones that ache and creak
Moved by muscles that don’t want to carry the weight
The weight of these emotions, they lead us astray
Enclosed by these thoughts that announce we’re not enough
All the while, we are everything
We are magick and star dust and as vast as the sky
We are the light radiating through these wounds
So yes, to be in these bodies,
When we are infinite?
Can be very painful
