The Transformation
A lot came up for me when I was creating these paintings.
3rd eye shattered.
Everything’s a flame.
The heart.
The similarities presented even deeper in the past than I had thought.
I had the words I wanted to write thought out before hand.
The paintings screwed that.
I spent all week, Sunday through Friday morning with these paintings.
Completed in 5 days. Very fast. I suppose the largest expulsions happen quickly.
Apparently when it was time to present, maybe an hour after I had finished, I was trying everything I could to get away from them.
When Daniel asked the questions I was so excited to answer, I had no answer. No feeling. No reaction. (Could be the sleep deprivation.)
He told me to stay present. Noticed me drifting. I was happy to be done.
But when I finally left the paintings, I missed them.
I longed for them, to look at them longer, ponder, bond.
But when I saw them again I felt that sickness.
I had given my story to the world. It was no longer mine, it was hers, theirs.
It’s over. It’s in the past. It’s just part of my story. Part of her story.
Now they sit, waiting to be finished and sold.
They are not mine. She is not me and he is not visible. Everything Changes.
That is why this story does not include a “me.”
Self-Identification
Loneliness is a girl with raven wings.
They glimmer in the light but she can not see.
Shielding herself from the fires of life.
She stands alone, She is darkness.
It follows her like the wings on her back.
Depression, the shade she can not unravel,
The hope that is out of reach.
Shattered
Who is this in the mirror.
She can not recognize herself.
The wish to not exist.
Why do you exist?
Sweet whispers of death sung in golden song.
It’s comforting, the voices leading the way out.
Something says no quietly, clearly.
But the light’s at the end.
Eros
Love?
He wants me to feel loved?
I deserve to be loved?
I deserve to be loved.
I deserve to be loved.
I am love.
What is this place you’ve brought me to?
Home.
You brought me home.
With this life energy, I hope you are home too.
Haunted
Waiting for the numb feeling.
Her smile didn’t fade until the day you left.
Like the fire she knew once so well.
You burned her peaceful dream.
The flames took everything.
Not even you could stay around,
to see the coals die out.
Sitting
Be calm my child.
Yes rest here with me.
Listen to the river not the noises in your head.
We’ve come a long way from the fires of our past.
But where are we now?
We are where the hurt of the past and the worries of the future do not exist.
We are infinite in this place.
We are living, breathing, we are not broken.
For our brokenness does not lay near.
No it’s far from here.
It will be alright to stay and sit here for a while.
No harm will be brought to you and you can do no harm.
Why do you feel guilt?
Why are you the shade of shame?
Come out of the darkness little one.
Come into the light.
You are safe here. You are loved here.
The term “never loved” does not exist here.
Because you are here with me now and I will forever love you.
I will not leave you. I will not abandon you.
You are a goddess of great divinity that can shine through her own darkness.
Do not be sad my love.
For your darkness does not define you just as it does not hold you.
You are free my child.
So be free.

Love comes from a broken and bleeding heart.
Broken, yet beating.
Love comes blossoming out of the break in the heart.
The burns that left marks.
Are not who you are.
Are not what you are searching for.
What you are searching for,
Is you.
You are the answer.
You are the one you’ve been waiting for.
Addicted
She’s addicted to thinking.
Her perspective is as foggy as the thick of her cigarette smoke.
She will never be loved, she thinks.
She thinks of him, she wonders why she’s oh so ALONE.
She doesn’t have a choice,
because the choice is still hidden in the smoke.
Lifted
And then the 4 words presented themselves.
You have a choice.
To let them go.
Let them all go.
Set free your worries.
Your fears.
Your shame.
Your thoughts that drag you to your heaviest.
Set free your being.
Phoenix
You can create endless love.
For the greatest love comes from within.
You are more enduring than your most looming fear.
You are more tenacious than your most forceful thought.
You are more present and alive than the love you once lost.
Transform and rise from the ashes of your past, my sweet.
For the light you searched for, you no longer need seek.
It shines from within you, Bright Phoenix.
Feel your inner flame.
You are the fire.
